CB Technology, the biggest independent electronics manufacturing services company in Scotland, kept its Livingston plant operating throughout the pandemic and avoided any positive cases of Covid-19.
Significant changes were made to the operating procedures, including reorganisation of the workplace to minimise personnel movement which has resulted in maximum product movement.
A more recent innovation has been the implementation of an air-management process in line with the science that indicates air transmission rather than surface transmission being the primary route of transmission. Monitoring CO2 levels within the facility’s ventilation system ensures the maintenance of safe levels and appropriate circulation.
