CB Technology acquires state-of-the-art Automated Inspection Machine
CB Technology has recently acquired, tested, and deployed a state-of-the-art Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machine.
“We have recently integrated the ALeader ALD7120 i3D Offline AOI system into our production line, marking a substantial leap forward in our inspection capabilities,” said David Robinson, Test Engineering Manager, CB Technology.
This new hardware is equivalent to having a super-powered microscope with a brain. It uses state-of-the-art 3D imaging technology to inspect printed circuit boards (PCBs) faster than ever before.
Implementing this system will significantly improve our production efficiency and defect detection rates. We anticipate enhanced internal yields and a marked increase in our defect collection rate, further solidifying our position as Scotland's leading independent electronics manufacturer.
